Weekend Wrap - 9/20/2010

The Spunky Diva booth was at DogFest on Saturday, hosted by The Collie Cottage.  We used the new table skirts and pop-up tent for the booth set-up.  Quite an improvement over our Pup In The Park set-up!  Here are some pictures of the action.

{Several of these Keyfobs with Pocket are now listed at my Etsy shop}

{Ms. Diva and Ms. K playing peek-a-boo}

Our booth location was directly across from the cool summer fun games for the children (and adults, LOL).  They had a water balloon toss, egg race, and several other entertaining events!

BooBooZoo's Booth - Her booboo bags are even cuter in person than they are on-line!  I managed to grab one of her Longhorn BooBoo Bagz (bottom right corner of the table).  Her Etsy shop is www.BooBooZoo.etsy.com

Lizzie Bees Things was very close to our booth.  It was fun to meet up with this energetic Etsian!  Her dog and cat collars are a fantastic variety of fun and bright fabrics.

McAllister Tuxedo was also there with a selection of her purses in all colors and textures.

My Etsy Team membership for Christian Artist and Crafters is now official!  They are a team on Etsy that works to promote their team members, and express Christ's love on-line through their support of one another.  You can read my membership questionnaire on their blog.

Check back tomorrow as we reveal our first Feature Etsy shop from last week's Etsy Tuesday!  I can't wait to see the shop line-up for this week!  The Etsy Tuesday Feature Shop is randomly selected by http://www.random.org/ out of the shops that link-up for the party.

Add a ‘click-able’ signature to comments you make.

While blog hopping recently, I came across this fantastic tip listed on Be Our Best.  Jill has compiled her Top 10 Blogging Tips in one place to help others out there in blogland.  Most of them I had heard of before.  But she had one on her list that I have only seen a couple times in practice, and have not heard a how-to do it before.Number 6: Add a clickable signature to your comments.If you add the following text to the bottom of the comments you leave for other bloggers, whatever text you insert for “Your Text Here” will be clickable.  You have to switch out “{“ and “}” with “<” and “>” then it will work.  Remember to also change the “Your Blog Address” part, LOL! {a href=http://www.YourBlogAddress.com/ }YOUR TEXT HERE {/a}Bonus Tip ~ I use Notepad to store all the html codes I use on a regular basis {the direct link code for my signature image, color codes, etc.}.  I added the above code to my Notepad page, edited it with my information, and saved it.  Now all I have to do …

Christmas is coming...

Working through some Christmas items to list on www.SpunkyDiva.com, my Etsy store. I will be taking custom orders through Dec. 1st.  Also, getting back into the swing of things by participating in two craft fairs this holiday season.

Planner Tabs and Dashboard

Post-it's tabs are super easy to add and move if you need to change where there are placed. I find that after placing them, I may find it easier to see them further over or on the other side of the page.

Seeing so many different ways to use tabs on the top, sides, and bottoms of their planner has given me ideas. And when you find one way doesn't work great, switch the location until you do find the perfect location for the way you use them.

After this layout, I moved stuff around....

Now the tabs for project lists, H's B-day, next Christmas are on the bottom of the pages. Nothing blocks the,  since the above layout I also switched the monthly layouts to behind the DISFish weekly pages I use.  The teal/blue month tabs are on the first page of the DISFish which includes that month's information.  The monthly tabs on the side are for the two-page monthly sprees by Daytimer that came with this binder. Helps to see the month laid out in that way when on the phone making appo…
