September In Review

Here are is the Blog Earnings pie chart for September.  For the book values I used the list price from since that is where I would have bought the books from if I had purchased them.  Makes the blog earnings a little more realistic, LOL!  I am very impressed with SwagBucks as I have earned $10 worth of Amazon Giftcards, and have almost enough to trade in for another $5 Amazon Giftcard.  My big cash earner in September was Social Spark as I was able to cash out $50 into my PayPal account.  Very nice to have to spend on our trip.

As far as blog rankings go, my goal was to stay below 2000 for the Izea Ranks.  That was accomplished, and The Spunky Diva blog even ranked under 1000 for a couple days!  Unfortunately, for some reason Google Analytics stopped working around the 1st of the month, and I don't have a true click count for September.  I switched to using on Sept. 27th, and had a whooping 499 unique visitors and 773 page loads.  Which just makes me wish even more that I had switched earlier in the month, LOL!

I used NCES Kids' Zone again this month to create the pie chart.

Add a ‘click-able’ signature to comments you make.

While blog hopping recently, I came across this fantastic tip listed on Be Our Best.  Jill has compiled her Top 10 Blogging Tips in one place to help others out there in blogland.  Most of them I had heard of before.  But she had one on her list that I have only seen a couple times in practice, and have not heard a how-to do it before.Number 6: Add a clickable signature to your comments. If you add the following text to the bottom of the comments you leave for other bloggers, whatever text you insert for “Your Text Here” will be clickable.  You have to switch out “{“ and “}” with “<” and “>” then it will work.  Remember to also change the “Your Blog Address” part, LOL! {a href= }YOUR TEXT HERE {/a}Bonus Tip ~ I use Notepad to store all the html codes I use on a regular basis {the direct link code for my signature image, color codes, etc.}.  I added the above code to my Notepad page, edited it with my information, and saved it.  Now all I have to do …

Christmas is coming...

Working through some Christmas items to list on, my Etsy store. I will be taking custom orders through Dec. 1st.  Also, getting back into the swing of things by participating in two craft fairs this holiday season.

Planner Tabs and Dashboard

Post-it's tabs are super easy to add and move if you need to change where there are placed. I find that after placing them, I may find it easier to see them further over or on the other side of the page.

Seeing so many different ways to use tabs on the top, sides, and bottoms of their planner has given me ideas. And when you find one way doesn't work great, switch the location until you do find the perfect location for the way you use them.

After this layout, I moved stuff around....

Now the tabs for project lists, H's B-day, next Christmas are on the bottom of the pages. Nothing blocks the,  since the above layout I also switched the monthly layouts to behind the DISFish weekly pages I use.  The teal/blue month tabs are on the first page of the DISFish which includes that month's information.  The monthly tabs on the side are for the two-page monthly sprees by Daytimer that came with this binder. Helps to see the month laid out in that way when on the phone making appo…
