Breakfast Coffee Drink at Home {not Starbucks!}

Here is a way to achieve two goals: save money and be healthier {sorta}.

One thing all the diets agree on is that you have to eat breakfast.  Well how many of us don't because we have little hands getting into everything and little feet that require corralling?  Actually "eating" breakfast is something I have never been good at.  So...

What I do is mix Slimfast Protein Powder with 1 cup of milk as directed {except I use 2% not non-fat} shake it up, and then fill the rest of the bottle up with coffee.  Wallah!  You have a breakfast coffee drink that is healthier than any coffee drink from a store, and it has protein in it too.  What a win-win.  There are several different breakfast drink mixes out there, like Caranation Breakfast and others in the health food aisle.

You can also just do one or two packets of hot chocolate mix with milk if you are going to actually eat breakfast.  I do this on Saturdays when Mr. SD is fixing breakfast for me and the kiddos.  I love his breakfasts!

Add a ‘click-able’ signature to comments you make.

While blog hopping recently, I came across this fantastic tip listed on Be Our Best.  Jill has compiled her Top 10 Blogging Tips in one place to help others out there in blogland.  Most of them I had heard of before.  But she had one on her list that I have only seen a couple times in practice, and have not heard a how-to do it before.Number 6: Add a clickable signature to your comments.If you add the following text to the bottom of the comments you leave for other bloggers, whatever text you insert for “Your Text Here” will be clickable.  You have to switch out “{“ and “}” with “<” and “>” then it will work.  Remember to also change the “Your Blog Address” part, LOL! {a href=http://www.YourBlogAddress.com/ }YOUR TEXT HERE {/a}Bonus Tip ~ I use Notepad to store all the html codes I use on a regular basis {the direct link code for my signature image, color codes, etc.}.  I added the above code to my Notepad page, edited it with my information, and saved it.  Now all I have to do …

Christmas is coming...

Working through some Christmas items to list on www.SpunkyDiva.com, my Etsy store. I will be taking custom orders through Dec. 1st.  Also, getting back into the swing of things by participating in two craft fairs this holiday season.

Planner Tabs and Dashboard

Post-it's tabs are super easy to add and move if you need to change where there are placed. I find that after placing them, I may find it easier to see them further over or on the other side of the page.

Seeing so many different ways to use tabs on the top, sides, and bottoms of their planner has given me ideas. And when you find one way doesn't work great, switch the location until you do find the perfect location for the way you use them.

After this layout, I moved stuff around....

Now the tabs for project lists, H's B-day, next Christmas are on the bottom of the pages. Nothing blocks the,  since the above layout I also switched the monthly layouts to behind the DISFish weekly pages I use.  The teal/blue month tabs are on the first page of the DISFish which includes that month's information.  The monthly tabs on the side are for the two-page monthly sprees by Daytimer that came with this binder. Helps to see the month laid out in that way when on the phone making appo…
