1. If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be? Probably my attitude. I hate that it is sooooo hard to change sometimes. Seriously, how many times do I have to promise myself I wont procrastinate or hold a grudge? It gets very redundant.
2. Write about a time when you got lost. Well… I can get lost in a paper bag {walking or driving}… I prefer to call it exploring. Being in the middle of nowhere there are lots of back roads, and some of them don’t go where you ‘think’ they should go. I spent 45 minutes taking a ‘short-cut’ to come out a lot closer to home than the store I was trying to get to. Saw some very pretty places along the way though, LOL.
3. Camping or 5 star hotel? How about both? There are some awesome vacation spots in Africa where technically you are camping, but… it is much more like a resort. I love camping, and I like luxury so it is a hard choice. There are plenty of beautiful spots to see that you can’t get a hotel near, and I certainly don’t want to miss them because there isn’t a hotel close.
4. Have you donated blood? I donated blood all the time in college, but then after moving to Texas I started having iron issues. So I haven’t donated in the last couple years. Something about making the trip the blood bank, then having your blood bounce to the top after answering their twenty-million questions makes it hard to want to do it. Plus {reference above question} being out in the middle of nowhere would be hard to get in consistently to donate. And my blood vessels decided to disappear with my pregnancies.
I know it sounds like I am making up excuses, but it is all true! {unfortunately}
5. Do you have a budget or do you 'fly by' most months? Definitely doing the budget thang. I am also working on being more strategic with my coupons. Not over the top couponing, but working on working the ‘system’. Here are a couple good resource sites if you have been thinking about how to use coupons more.
http://www.couponing101.com/ ; http://frugallivingandhavingfun.com/ ; and my favorite lady http://www.familyfriendlyfrugality.com/
As you can see by how ‘nice’ these site are, coupons are a big deal to lots of people. I also use SwagBucks to earn gift cards to buy extras and give as gifts which helps out with the budget too. I did a post {here} on what I have ‘earned’ so far with SwagBucks.

Wow!!! We are alot alike. I get lost alot too...and love your term of "exploring" I'm a big junkin' person ( garage sales that is ) and when you aren't too familiar with all of the roads its a true adventure in its self...but too true that you do see some unique things you wouldn't otherwise see.
ReplyDeleteTrue about the blood bank as well, hate going through the many unendless questions....
Love reading your blog!!! Congrats on the 400 mark!!
I love your questions. I think it's great that you want your reader to know more about you. I do that on my own blog the feature of the day followed by the question of the day...
ReplyDeleteI'm a camping buff lol as you know... I think full timing in a RV is proof enough. I am one of those people who feel guilty when spoiled and so I don't spoil if at all... I am a coupon freek even if I don't use the product because if I can get it 80% or more off then I donate to the food pantry to help out (you'd be amazed on the amount of food we donate)... If I could change one thing about myself. To stop beating myself up when it comes to crafting. I craft for a living and I am terrible about thinking I suck... errr lol.... Great job on todays blog - I enjoyed it a GREAT deal...
Wouldn't it be grand to not have to live on a budget? Thanks for stopping by my blog. It's always nice to make a new friend. Have an awesome weekend!
