Outside my window..it is overcast, humid, and just plain yucky warm. Welcome to Texas Spring.
Today I feel..good. Still having a hard time with losing my Grandpa, but doing better on that score.
I am thankful..for my two little bundles of joy that make me laugh, and fill my evenings with joy.
Tomorrow I am going..to work, probably have to go grocery shopping too.
I am wearing..capris and a skimpy tank under a cotton button down shirt {open, of course}.
I wish..for my Grandpa back.
This weekend..I am working at a Horse Show at the Travis County Expo Center for one of my favorite people. It is always a good time, with a generous dose of chaos thrown in, LOL!
I am reading..A Heart Most Worthy, by Siri Mitchell
I am working on..figuring out how to polish off my blog design so I am ‘happy’ with it, and will stop fiddling with it.
Yesterday I..worked, did chores, slept till my alarm clock went off, rather than getting up with Mr. SD {or getting up with Ms. T when she decides to get up with Mr. SD, however you want to look at it}.
I am hoping..to be able to do more horse grooming. We are working on paying of Ms. T’s medical bills from a c-section delivery, and I earn extra income doing mane pulling and clipping.
I am hearing..fun music on Pandora.
I bet you didn't know..that I have stayed true to my No Fabric in April Pledge. It’s been hard, but… it kinda goes along with the hoping comment above. If I don’t spend money on fabric I have more to put towards the bills.
One of my [least] favorite..things to do right now is drink water. I am using the Crystal Light packages to flavor my drinks. My other least favorites is changing Ms. Diva’s diapers.
One of my [most] favorite..my baby girl! Nothing smells better than a little, tiny bundle of joy. It will be over way to soon, and then I will have two toddlers to try and keep up with.
What are you up to? Join in the fun over at Murdock’s Momma.
A hat for my oldest in ballet pink (red heart yarn she picked) with some silver beads. No pattern, and ended up running elastic thread through a couple rows to make it more secure on her head for now, until she grows into it some more. Matches a shoulder shrug knitted for her during her year of ballet lessons.
I didn't know you worked with horses???? Holly cow (sorry for the funny) - but heck girl YOU ROCK!! I am sorry for your sad heart - I got my sad heart this past Oct when my 94 year old grand mum passed on. Just 3 days before my b-day. I am sending a big hug out your way....

It is super gross out! I just wish it would rain already and quit being ugly!
ReplyDeleteApril is almost over and that means more fabric buying :)
I love the look of your blog. I am sorry about your grandpa. Mine has been gone for ten years and I still miss him.
ReplyDeleteYou are one busy girl. I never been around horses, but I think they are gorgeous animals.
Sorry to hear about your grandpa...and lol to the blog design thing...I change something on mine just about every few days....
ReplyDeleteI wish I was complaining about heat! It's been a cold week in Iowa! :( Yay for paying off bills, such a good feeling! Your blog is beautiful! Thanks so much for linking up!! MM
