I have been busy prepping for DogFest, and am super excited about all different Stay-Put Towels I have available for this event! I have also been busy redoing photos of Stay-Put Towels I had in inventory, and taking pictures of the new ones for the Etsy store (www.SpunkyDiva.etsy.com). Photos take a looooong time to take and edit, LOL!
As part of the weekend whirlwind of towels, I got two more sets completed for my Mom to go with her Kitchen window curtain. Mom was my second Etsy customer. Thank you Mom!
Here are some photos of the property as it dries up after last weeks Hermine encounter. We only had about 2" here in Elgin, but friends received as much as 15" (or more) and had massive flooding. I am very thankful we are up on high ground!
Our pond/stock tank filled back up.
Here you can see the bare ground from where the horses sacrifice paddocks were before our big fence overhaul Labor Day Weekend. The exposed dirt just soaked in the rain.
We already have scads of baby grass popping up! Rain truly is a miraculous invention.
The horses enjoyed getting as muddy as possible, LOL!
And the puppy dogs where happy to be dry and clean!
Ms. Diva has figured out how to stack and unstack her little discs. But, of course as soon as I pulled out the camera I could not get a picture of her and them, LOL! She is not yet walking. She could, but is lacking the confidence to let of something (she prefers to hold a finger while walking). She is loving the pool, and splashing unsuspecting people that get to close. And, it seems that her favorite pastime in the car is now 'singing' along with the radio. Which is very, very entertaining, LOL! I so hope she inherits her father's voice rather than mine.
