Add some fun to your Computer Desktop.

Being the creative, crafty person I am... I love changing up my desktop background all the time.  Being the frugal person that I am (occasionally, LOL) I always try to find a free way to do this.

So, this last time when I got the itch for change, I ran a search to find a new desktop background for my computer (of course I ran the search using SwagBucks, LOL), and found the Blue Mountain website.  They have a great assortment of desktop backgrounds available for free after a quick registration.  Blue Mountain also has several monthly desktop backgrounds that have a picture with a calender overlay.

When I saw this rainbow with Psalms 27:1, I downloaded it.  What a stunning Rainbow!

And with how easy it was to use the Blue Mountain website I can change my desktop every week!

Blue Mountain is part of the AG Interactive Group, and specializes in greeting cards.  They state that all their downloads are Adware and Spyware free.  They are also connected in to Webshots.

{I am simply sharing these links.  I have no affiliation with this company, nor have I received anything from them other than downloading the free desktop background that is available to everyone through their website.}

  1. Owwwww thank you for the info. LOVE the rainbow...GOD's promise is always amazing to me.

Add a ‘click-able’ signature to comments you make.

While blog hopping recently, I came across this fantastic tip listed on Be Our Best.  Jill has compiled her Top 10 Blogging Tips in one place to help others out there in blogland.  Most of them I had heard of before.  But she had one on her list that I have only seen a couple times in practice, and have not heard a how-to do it before.Number 6: Add a clickable signature to your comments.If you add the following text to the bottom of the comments you leave for other bloggers, whatever text you insert for “Your Text Here” will be clickable.  You have to switch out “{“ and “}” with “<” and “>” then it will work.  Remember to also change the “Your Blog Address” part, LOL! {a href= }YOUR TEXT HERE {/a}Bonus Tip ~ I use Notepad to store all the html codes I use on a regular basis {the direct link code for my signature image, color codes, etc.}.  I added the above code to my Notepad page, edited it with my information, and saved it.  Now all I have to do …

Christmas is coming...

Working through some Christmas items to list on, my Etsy store. I will be taking custom orders through Dec. 1st.  Also, getting back into the swing of things by participating in two craft fairs this holiday season.

Planner Tabs and Dashboard

Post-it's tabs are super easy to add and move if you need to change where there are placed. I find that after placing them, I may find it easier to see them further over or on the other side of the page.

Seeing so many different ways to use tabs on the top, sides, and bottoms of their planner has given me ideas. And when you find one way doesn't work great, switch the location until you do find the perfect location for the way you use them.

After this layout, I moved stuff around....

Now the tabs for project lists, H's B-day, next Christmas are on the bottom of the pages. Nothing blocks the,  since the above layout I also switched the monthly layouts to behind the DISFish weekly pages I use.  The teal/blue month tabs are on the first page of the DISFish which includes that month's information.  The monthly tabs on the side are for the two-page monthly sprees by Daytimer that came with this binder. Helps to see the month laid out in that way when on the phone making appo…
