I am jumping off the cliff into the world of professional photography.   After working my tush off to learn the full range of what my DSLR can do, and sitting down with several on-line courses, and... practicing over-and-over-and-over... Here are some pictures of Ms. Diva modeling her butterfly Ayano dress.  I am so happy with how this turned out!  Ms. Diva loves it too.

Another scrapbooking ‘page’ for Ms. Diva.  I used design elements from Shabby Blogs designs .  Thumbs up for Freebies!  Nothing like going from a sweet little ‘angel’ to a complete ‘diva’, LOL!

If you could buy any car, money not an option, what would it be?  I just love my Tahoe.  I would like a new one with all the bells and whistles though.  Bluetooth and navigation systems are wonderful inventions! 2. What was your worst first date ever?  Very happy to say I have not had a bad first date.  Lucky, I know, and I don’t mind rubbing it in, LOL! 3. How old were you when you fell in love for the first time?  Early twenties.  Crushes… of course I had those as a pre-teen.  Any boy that like horses was fair game! 4. When was the last time you reconciled your checkbook?  I don’t, Mr. SD handles that {thank God!}. 5. If you were going to fashion a "Wanted" Ad for a best friend, how would you word it?  Honesty a must-have, sees the funny side of things, dysfunctional {Hey no one is perfect, but if they admit that you know what to expect .}, must love movies and books, spending hours in Joann’s optional, spendin...

Baby Diva all alone Look… a bow. Newest addition to the hand-me-down pile.  Never to be worn by one of these ‘Divas’ again. Ms. Diva prepping with Mr. SD. Quick, Ms. Diva needs a flower bow to match.  This was the only purple flower I had in the house. Bow disaster averted. Priorities re-established. One ham, one ‘boy… that was bright’ ‘Are you sure you should be in the picture with me?’ Ms. Diva to Baby Diva. Let’s both look down! Hand nab maneuver completed, Captain. Happy Easter!

Here is my first foray into the world of digital scrapbooking, and boy… what a big world it is!  I used a freebie from Grandma’s Got Worms and a free 30-day trial of Adobe Elements 8 to ‘create’ this page. I love the fun colors and the ‘spunky’ flowers.

Cuter pictures from same day. Linking up with... Project 52

This Sunday was 50’s day at church, and with Ms. Diva walking this year she ‘just’ had to have a fun skirt to wear to celebrate the occasion.  I had about half a yard of tan felt in my fabrics to use for the skirt { to go with her brown shoes }.  Not enough for a true, full poodle skirt.  So... I compromised and made an abridged ‘butterfly’ skirt.  I added a shocking hot pink tulle ruffle at the bottom, and tied the pink to the shirt with a quick stitched ‘flower’.  This was tulle I had left over from the TuTu Drive .  She was soooooo cute!  She is just starting to figure out twirling, and... ... she is fascinated with dandelions at the moment.  She loves to pull off the ‘fluff’ and set it free!  See how cute she is?  {Tomorrows post will have pictures of her not-so-cute side and pictures of my outfit to.} The butterfly design is from Embroidery Garden , and has to be one of my favorite butterfly designs I have found to d...
